AI and Creativity in Schools

ABOUT THE PROJECT

AI and Creativity in Schools explores how Artificial Intelligence can support creative teaching, student expression, inclusive learning and collaborative problem-solving across different school contexts.

Over 24 months, partners from Spain, Italy and Greece work together through teacher training, student mobilities and hands-on experimentation with AI in lesson design, storytelling, visual arts, music, accessibility and STEAM learning.

The project combines practical teacher development with student co-creation, aiming to produce reusable resources, examples and guidance that can support meaningful and responsible AI integration in schools.

AI for Creative Teaching

Lesson design, materials and practical classroom use.

AI & Creative Expression

Art, music, storytelling and multimedia creation.

AI for Inclusion

Accessibility, differentiation and support for diverse learners.

AI for STEAM Problem-Solving

Design Thinking, prototyping and collaborative challenges.

Why this project?

The challenge
What We Want to Explore

Artificial Intelligence is entering schools quickly, but meaningful educational use requires more than simply introducing new tools.

Teachers need practical ways to integrate AI into lesson design, creative activities and inclusive learning, while students need opportunities to explore AI critically, responsibly and as part of real collaborative work.

This project responds to that need by combining teacher development with hands-on student creation, allowing partners to test how AI can support teaching, artistic expression, accessibility and problem-solving across different school contexts.

Creative teaching
How AI can support lesson design, classroom materials and new forms of learning.

Student creativity
How learners can use AI in storytelling, visual arts, music and interactive creation.

Inclusive learning
How AI can support accessibility, differentiation and participation for diverse learners.

Collaborative problem-solving
How AI can become a partner in Design Thinking and STEAM challenges.

Our consortium

Our consortium brings together three diverse schools from Finland, Poland, and Spain, alongside Nexus Innovation from Greece. Each partner contributes unique expertise and educational contexts, ensuring a rich, collaborative exploration of Artificial Intelligence in teaching, creativity, and inclusion across Europe.

Maria Moliner Quart de Poblet

As the coordinating institution, it will handle administrative tasks, budget management, and reporting. Additionally, it will host the mobility focused on STEAM, Design Thinking, and AI, leading hands-on workshops and interdisciplinary activities

Nexus Innovation

Will host the teacher training activity, providing expert guidance on AI, digital tools, and pedagogical strategies while supporting the design of AI-based educational methodologies.
