Interactive Augmented Reality installation by Nexus Innovation. Created for the Contemporary Art Museum of Florina. Combines art and technology, bringing selected paintings to life through motion and animation visible via a tablet app.
Visitors explore the exhibition with a tablet in hand, pointing the camera at one of five participating artworks. Instantly, the paintings transform, static images come alive, revealing subtle movements, sounds, or animated details.
The custom AR app developed for this installation recognizes each painting and overlays interactive 3D and animated elements. Designed for museum visitors of all ages, the app offers an immersive and playful experience, highlighting how technology can enhance artistic engagement without altering the integrity of the original artworks.
